Bernadeta Astari (1988, Indonesia) is a postgraduate singing student of Henny Diemer at Utrecht Conservatory, where she graduated with honours in 2010. She won 1st prize in the Princess Christina Concours 2007 and received various Dutch scholarships. She has performed with Nationale Reisopera, Dutch National Opera Academy, Royal Concertgebouworkest cello octet, and Vocalstudio32-Utrecht, and participated in the Franz-Schubert-Institut International Liedmasterclass 2010 (Austria). In 2009, she formed a duo with Kanako Inoue and had masterclasses with Irwin Gage, Mitsuko Shirai, Hartmut Höll, and was coached by Rudolf Jansen and Jan Paul Grijpink. They received the Zilveren Vork Award 2009/2010 from Vrienden van de Harmonie Leeuwarden and will perform in Het Debuut concert series 2011/2012. She also recently being selected as the quarter finalis of the 49th International Vocalista Concours ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands 2012.
